10 Twitter Tips for Better Presentations

I’m starting to enjoy checking my Twitter messages more and more. The reason? Because I follow a few people only — and they send out interesting links I would most likely never see otherwise. Here is a case in point: a guide for better presentations from Business Week that offers ten tips to increase both your professionalism and your impact. The tips come in the form of “10 Worst Presentation Mistakes,” examples of which are reading from notes and not making eye contact. (Yes, really, people do both these and more!)

I have sat through so many bad presentations, often mere recitations of way too much material on slide after slide. Leaders can do better than this.  Check out these tips — and show up better in front of others. You’ll have a far better chance of influencing them if you do.
